Do you have a manual for your machine? I believe that is a model that had a removable section in the needle plate, You just remove it and turn it around.
https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/ne...g-machine.aspx It appears that this machine is probably a left homing machine. If you look at the image you will notice a single hole above the right side of the feed dog openings, whereas the zigzag opening is below the feed dog openings.
