For the last few week Kroger's shelves have been empty of canned diced green chilies. That seems really odd to me. Why green chilies? all the other Mexican items seem to be in stock. last time I was there they had maybe five cans left but they were the expensive ($1.79 for a four oz. can) The other brands are .69 cents.
Every store within an hour of us has been out of diced green chilies. It's crazy. I ordered some from target online and they didn't bother to pad the box so they were all dented. Some really bad and some not as bad. I ended up with 3 good cans out of the lot (8 plus 5 resent).
