As a celebration of getting a new to me midarm machine, I wanted to make a quilt. Practicing on plain fabric is helpful and all, but it can be quite boring. I decided to finish the
Michigan quilt I had started as a way to force myself to use the machine and try to become familiar with it. I have made this quilt before using different fabric. This time I used a line called "Freya and Friends" by Janet Clare. I really loved the art work and color scheme. The contrast works really well for this pattern too.
The quilting is just a loopy squiggle I knew I could accomplish and not ruin the quilt with scary wobbly patterns. Overall, I am super happy with it. Don't tell my other quilts, but I think this one is my favorite!
