Border is supposed to reminiscent of waves breaking on a beach and is made with batiks like most of the rest of the quilt. This whole quilt is stunning in person--the hubs even likes it--and he's picky! Good job everyone! Happy Holidays, Merry Everything and Happy New Year!!
Carrie this is perfect! Even without reading what you wrote I could see the beach, surf and ocean.
