I have the Janome Professional 6600 which has a 9" harp space. I know there is another Janome with a larger harp space yet but can't remember the name or number of it. I have had my Janome for 10 years and never had it in for any repairs, etc. I clean it myself and put a drop of oil on the bobbin wick every so often it and runs like a charm. I have FMQ many quilts including king size with it. That gets a little challenging, but it is doable. Have fun with whatever machine you go with.
