I see you've decided against it, but what I've been thinking about as my vision/ability to cut fails, is I will switch to kits that are precut. Ot first blush they seem expensive, of course there is labor involved, but since I quit buying fabric many years ago, I think I can afford it
For me I can't justify the cost and space of an accucut machine.
