I haven't done this pattern but I did Elizabeth Hartman's Dogs in Sweaters. There are many small pieces and it takes a lot of accuracy and consistency. I used a seam guide and it went well. I thought the pattern was well written with good illustraions. I did need to work on it when I didn't have any distractions though. I strongly suggest doing a test block with scrap fabric first.
