Default Batik Bear Paw

This quilt came about as my DH suggested we give a quilt to some friends in Tahoe since they did not have one of my quilts yet. He was just going to choose one from the stack of quilts I have made that don't have homes yet. I told him no, to at least find out what colors they liked. She said Navy blue. Well as it happened I had leftover fabric as well as fabric I bought that I did not use for a Labyrinth Walk quilt I made my son a while back. I got to thinking and looking through my patterns and it hit me that a bear paw would be perfect for a mountain home. This was a free pattern I got from Benartex a long time ago as well. Please excuse the pictures; we gifted the quilt before I could get better ones. The weather being rainy/windy/cold for outdoor photos. I used blue painters tape for the quilting. The quilt is actually more Navy/Grey-is than it looks in the photo. They did love the quilt BTW. Thanks for looking.
