    Yep, it is one of the cutest quilts I've seen in a long time!

    Looks like lots and lots of applique and handwork, how long did it take to make?

    All you ladies should be super proud of those quilts :D

    Thank you all for your sweet comments!! It was a fun quilt from start to finish. Just finding and collecting chicken patterns and fabrics was fun. Then making the blocks was a blast. Most of the applique was done on the machine and did not take long. We made and swapped blocks for three and a half years before we called a moratorium on the insanity-it could have gone on forever. All three of us used large pieces of leftover chicken fabric to piece our quilt backs-and I STILL have a stash. It was an illness I am glad to put to bed. Glad you all enjoyed it. :D

    Now you've got me inspired. I've been busy and missed this thread..glad I went back! My kitchen is chickens anyway...so now you've got me itching to do one of these! Waaay cute!
