    Hi there, sorry for this, but I seem to be having a senior moment here. I love that pattern and having read all your instructions it makes sense and I'm going to have a go, but can you tell me how do you put the blocks together? Are they sewn together or are they fused onto a backing fabric?

    Holy Moley, thought you had paper pieced all those litlle goodies...I NEVER would have thought that was fusible!!! Going to go for this one!!! Good Show!!!

    Me too! talk loudly so I can hear ya! It is one beautiful pattern! Do we draw our own designs??? Thank you - those colors are great!!

    i'm not exactly sure what you are asking...i've been laying the blocks out side by side to figure out a layout. when i finally decide on the layout i will simply sew the blocks together, the usual way you sew blocks together.
    the fused part is the design fused onto the black 6 1/2" squares...i'm posting some blocks from a different project using same technique.
    i recommend drawing your own designs. but if you want to use that one it is in McCalls Quilting Jan/Feb 2010

    so sunglasses may be in order
