Thanks so much for the web sites. We will be in the Beaver and New Brighton area as well as Pittsburg so I am looking forward to visiting some of the shops.

There is a really large shop in Allison Park called "THE QUILT COMPANY". It is a really large shop and they are very helpful.

BTW.... Pittsburgh has an H at the end...I think we are the only "burg" that has one :).

I live in Pittsburgh. The Quilt Company is very nice shop.I shop there the most. It is north of Pittsburgh off route 8. In new brighton area on route 51 there is Amy Baughman Sewing studio. She carries quilt fabrics as well as sewing machines. Amy is a great lady. Also north of Pittsburgh on babcock blvd is Piece It Together. South of Pittsburgh on route 88 in Finleyville is Quilters Corner. It also is a very nice shop- lots of fabrics esp civil war, batiks many new fabrics. North of Pittsburgh also is Muddy Creek fabrics in Portersville. It is a small shop but nice fabrics. If you need better directions let me know.

Below is a link from a search of the Bridgeville area. I personally have not been to any of the shops mentioned but this is a "start" for you...

    http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...quilt+shops%5c

If this link does not work, I googled Bridgeville, PA quilt shops
