I've got most of the blocks for this week done but was working on L9. I noticed the piecing instructions from the software are off so I came here to see if anyone else had issues with the block. Boy am I sure glad you did! Sadly, I was hoping someone had provided the answer yet I don't see one posted. Buggers! You're supposed to do the work for me ladies! Why else would I be trailing so far behind?

Tiff....are you PP'ing most of yours? I think that most of us are doing it that way...of course except those brave and talented women who are hand piecing them!! I didn't have a problem with L9 (I did PP it)...so I can't help you with the instructions..are you looking at the rotary cutting or the templates? I can take a look...I'm NO expert though!

I'm doing a bit of everything. I've started just cutting out the pieces according to the software but I have to admit I HATE the cutting instructions from the software. I think I'll have to go back and paper piece this one, or at least print it out so I can see where they made a mistake. I know it's them making the mistake and not me. ;)

Of course its THEM!!! I've had to re-draw a few of the blocks when I'm pp'ing them...they make it too hard sometimes. Then there are the ones that they say you can't PP...yes, you can..I just have to draw the pattern for those. I guess I should have saved them or at least written down how I did them huh....

I've redrafted a few as well. I've turned a few into applique simply because it looks easier to do that way. I sure wish the cutting instructions were a bit more 'User Friendly.'

By the time I've finished this quilt, if I never see a Y-seam again I will be thrilled. Unfortunately, I know myself well enough to know that I won't let a technique I'm sick of stop me from making a quilt. And I've gotten darn good at them. :!:
