I think it turned out great. I also think the waste is minimal and if you are using scrap fabric to begin with (like I did) you really aren't wasting any. Besides, if the waste isn't that small, you can use it again for another Rhonda Woodsmall Method block. They rock. I've made one so far and I loved the technique and VERY LITTLE WASTE.

I just downloaded her e-book for Star Points Blocks. I am excited to try her method. I have watched a couple of her tutes and think it is the answer for me. Several years ago I decided to make a flannel quilt for my son & DDIL and thought I would do it in triangles. Never thought of starch, or any of the other hints here. I haven't done triangles since. I figure it is time to suck it up and advance to something more difficult. And they look so great when finished. I love yours
