    They could sign their names and then all we have to do is trace over with black embroidery. Oh I would set my embroidery floss with hot vinegar water before using it...
    Just finished a red-work design for a swap... the blanked color bled and ruined two months work... when I washed the block to remove the template pencil ink (it was pink and some places showed)...now I have to start back at square one for this person's block!

    Have you dried it in the dryer? If not you might want to try Oxiclean or Borax- light solutions to get out the bleeding.

    No I didn't put it in the dryer but I used bleach and the red turned a red-orange color :(
    I will try the borax... even if it just takes out the bleed it would be better that what it is now.

    IT'S WORKING!!!!:)
    There is still just a tiny bit on the worst places so I'm soaking some more...this will be wonderful if it fixes the bleed.

    Update .... IT WORKED!!!! All the ugly bleed is gone. The color is even and still more red than orange.

    I am so close to being done with my center..... Hope topost picts within 2 days. Tomorrow I MUST work on my other projects.. I am seriously trying to talk myself into it atleast!

    OO BOY.. so I finished this center.... I LOVE IT but don't want it as big as the quilt would end up being.. SO I will keep it and figure out something else.... but here it is anyway so you guys can see it!
