Well I've *finally* got the border on this one...
I hope BlueChicken likes it. I'll pop it in the post at the start of next week for its long journey home

The joy of strip piecing, since I think there's over 700 pieces in this border!

Sorry I haven't been around.... buddys'mom's top has sat here for weeks with one side of the border attached, and the other three sides pieced just waiting to be attached. It's been crazy, I'm too scared to even look at the instructions and see just how far behind I am!

But good news, it's finished, and will be on it's way home Monday afternoon. Are we posting the finished photos? Or waiting to surprise the owner?
I know mine has been sent, and wouldn't you know it, there's a card in our letterbox this afternoon saying the post office has a parcel for us that was too big for the box. So I have to go fetch it. Only the post shop is closed for the next two days! Aaaarrrgghhh!!!!!

Are you SURE you want to see it? ;) LOL

I pulled every pink and green I had to get plenty of variety and capture all the shades that are in it. And if it was mine, I'd bind it with the dark purple of the thin borders.

Had to stand on the table to get it all in!
