Leota don't be silly. Look at your center - with lace insets? You will really put my French Sewing to the test, but I am developing a plan and collecting some of the kinds of things to add to your quilt. Oh goodness, I have it for Round 6.

All you newbees, you will learn a lot by participating in this activity. Last year one of the quilt tops just needed beading or it wouldn't be right. You got it. It took me 2 weeks working almost 8 hours a day, but when I was finished it was a 3 inch border completely beaded in 3-5 bead clusters in yellow, pink or purple. I had never done bead work before and each of those tiny flowers is 3-5 beads. The butterflies are applique' and then beaded.

Last year I used buttons, pearls, beads made of coral and jade and amythist on blueribbontoe's center. Many of the things I did are in my journal.

I was new last year, made mistakes and redid things several times, but I really learned a great deal.

I know what you mean-Gwyn's center from Leota made it here today too. Waiting 2 weeks before seriously starting on the next border make my mind go over my stash many times-but it does make it easier when I finally decide what I want to do. Of course I have 2 ideas already battling around makes it hard to settle down.

Hey, just wanted to let you guys know that Star's center will be in the mail on Monday.
I only got in in the mail 2 weeks ago, so I was a little late starting it.
