I grew up in the country with well water. Our well wasn't a deep well so we had to watch our water consumption during dry summers, but, was that water good! We have city water now from a great aquifer. However...the drillers are trying to do fracking and horizontal drilling for gas in our area. They're buying up mineral rights right and left. There is a lot of opposition because of possible contamination. Anyone experience that yet?

Artisan spring water I hope...we are just getting ready to dig a well
Our friends have a artisan with some to spare that gets let out to run free so they have a small year round creek. It is cold and no taste at all. The house up our road has one also, so we have a good chance to have one . Wish me luck. We will be moving in about 3 years from Il. to Mo. I can not wait

We have our own well, but high in mineral content, so use a filter system before it comes into the house. Good drinking water, and with all the rain so far, the well is FULL I'm sure...LOL!

I have spring water, the best tasting water ever. If I go traveling I miss it. Other water, especially city water does not taste as good. The first thing I do when I get home is drink a big glass full. It does come down off a heavily wooded hillside so it is acidic. The only downside is that it eats up copper pipes and water heaters.

We live 2.3 miles from down and have a well. It's all well and good until the power went down during Ike and we lost the prime on the pump, and then the power came on while we were on manditory evacuation...price of new pump $1,024.00

We have water that is filtered through lava rock. There is a river of it flowing through a lave tube that our small water company has tapped into. It is really pure and cold.

Wonderfully cold well water that tests out very pure.It is naturally very soft. We don't even get sediment in our hot water tank.

We live in the country and have a well, it is absolutely delicious. Ice cold. Tastes like bottled water. We prefer it over city water.
