    Not crazy at all...but below is a link to a pattern for a quilted shawl made from 2.5" strips. I downloaded from Moda Bake Shop's free patterns. I thought I would make it for my sister. Looks easy enough.

    That's a great idea for covering shoulders.
    It would be sort of like a short cape...my mom made one of my daughters a crocheted cape which I still have somewhere.

    well, peoplle have gotten rich off of ideas like that- look at that rediculous snuggy blanket- When we worn my
    dad's old dress shirt backwards to paint in they looked like that. It's all in how you market it.

    I think it's a great idea. It sounds like it would be super cozy and perfect for cold shoulders. Much better idea that the kind of shoulder covering thingys that are like shaped like a table runner. Sorry to the description ... it's been a long day already LOL
