The quilt is beautiful and could be for either a boy or girl.

Beautiful quilt. I'd say either, but would probably lean towards a boy. Can't wait to see the girl quilt!

This is a really good example of a gender neutral quilt. There is nothing about it to say boy or girl. It's just a great looking quilt. Make the other one the same!

Boy or girl both. We seem to think of soft colors for a girl and bright ones for a boy but I've been told that the babies are attracted to the bright colors in the quilts I've made for them

With that said I'm having a problem choosing the fabrics for the quilt for my soon to be born first great grandchild. I bought several yards of medium hue 30's repro fabrics and a lovely white on white fabric to us but keep changing my mind about which ones to use to make it look unisex. Need to get it started ASAP as the baby shower is in 2 weeks. Think I'll go with blue, yellow, mint with the WOW for background. When the baby is older I can make a bigger one in colors that suit it more.
