Glen Campbell has revealed he has Alzheimer's. So sad, he is giving a farewell tour this year then retire from view with grace and dignity. His music was so beautiful and his tv show back in the 60's was always so funny. This disease has such a scare factor I know every time I can't think of a word or can't remember what I walked into a room for I always wonder if its starting in me. Bless his heart.

My DH saw that on TV also. So sad, and so sad for the many who suffer with Alzheimer's and their families who suffer more. Pray they find a cure soon.

Sad but I wonder if the announcement has anything to do with promoting his tour. He's been pretty quiet and now a tour? Where have I been........

That is so sad. I wish somebody would find a cure for this horrible disease.

Does seem like an odd time to start a tour -

I hope the progress of his disease is slow -

and for all those that are affected/afflicted by it - I ask for grace - in all senses of the word
