    chuckbere.....I can't help you. I havn't started my 21 blocks either. But sure have a stack of red and white fabric.

    Search here for the red and white quilt exhibit and you will find even more pictures of those quilts. One member's husband took pictures, and they were amazing.

    How about looking at doing some modified jian zhi patterns, It's Chinese paper cutting, and a bit flowery for quilts, but it is very elegant adn maybe could be adapted. I love it. (But I dont wanna quilt it)

    There are two quilt shows pictured here. The first is lovely, but the second is full of what look like hundreds of red and white quilts. Perhaps your inspiration is there.

    I am glad I am not the only one. Usually I am a head of the game. But with camping I just haven't been motivated. It is hard to do research on my iPhone.
