I bought my Janome Horizon a couple of months ago and love it!!! I also am thinking about a separate embroidery machine. I hope you like your Horizon as much as I do. It is sure getting a workout!

Check out the Janome 350. It is embroidery only but since you have the Horizon, the 350 would be able to meet your embroidery needs. I have both of these machines and have been very pleased.

If it were me - I would do what kingspb said unless you need or want the larger hoop size. I had a 350e and it was a fabulous machine - and you'll probably be able to use up your bobbin ends from the embroidery machine in your sewing machine - how sweet is that??! The place you are getting your sewing machine from should give you a good deal for the both of them ;)

I bought my Janome about 3 years ago and I love it. I was doing hand quilting and was trying to get them done before doing alot on the machine. But now! I have made purses and bags, put in Zippers, made botton holes, meandering,and.......... Any way you get the picture. I love it. I want to get a embrodery machine and don't know what I want or to buy. I will keep looking until I make up my mind. I just have to try out a few and determine what price I want to pay. Still love my Janome!
