Thanks for compliments! :lol: I am not sure about the assembly yet, but I think I most likely will use sashing, and am leaning toward black. Don't worry, I will keep you posted! :D

I've been making them too! Consider using a Dresden blade ruler to make fans for the borders. As long as you have that fabric out... Also tiny fans make great Christmas ornaments!

cnolan, your lanterns are beautiful! With so many people showing interest in the lanterns that several of you are doing, maybe someone should host a lantern swap.
