    Thank you so much for your great tutorial. I also see this item as a great place to practice my FMQing. Twelve inches squared is a wonderful size to for practice. :thumbup:

    Anyone have ideas as to what these might sell for at a craft show? I know I could never get the suggested 3X the cost of materials.

    I'm making some for a local quilt show to sell at our guild table. I'm using Moda 10" layer cake squares, No scrim cotton batting and all cotton thread with decorative stitches around the edges. I'm selling them in packages of four, $35 a package. My DD took one to work to use for heating up her lunch bowl and brought me orders for 8 packages. I told her to tell the people to come to the quilt show and buy them. I don't have time to fill orders. She works in a hospital and 'gotta have this' travels like wild fire among the staff. I'll post some pics later.

    Love your answer. It reminded me I was in a 10.5" block swap not long ago... I can use those. Your price seems right for a set of four. Thanks Bella.

    These are such a cool idea, thank you for your time to do the tut, very well done. I am going to try the 12". Put on my Christmas list for those hard to buy for.
