    Received a fabulous surprise today - two beautiful Snail Trail blocks from jigs1354, and extgra Sept. swap, and a goodie-bag -- she sent me a pattern and 3 pieces of lovely Christmas fabric. Don't know what I did to deserve all this, Shirley, but I do thank you. It all is wonderful and beautiful.
    Hope you have your blocks, I mailed them last week.

    This is my "invention" but I'm sure I'm not the first to do this block.
    When I googled I also found cider, pie, etc!

    It's on quilters cache. It is called the Depression Block. I love it too!
