When all the pretty Halloween fabric started coming out in August I decided that I better pick up what I wanted quick so I'd have it before it was all sold out. Buying all that fabric put me in a Halloween mood so I put this quilt together pretty quick. I'd seen an earlier post where someone had appliqued ghosts on her quilt so I decided that would give my quilt just the right touch. Now, here it is Halloween and I never finished my quilt!!!! Figures!!! But here it is for all to see. This was my first attempt at a "real" quilt pattern and the first time I tried machine applique'. Hope you like it. The orange plaid is a flannel and will be the backing. My daughter spied it in Wal-Mart, on sale no less!!!

I fussy cut quite a bit of the strips so the cutest parts would show! Can you find the black cat on the left side?

Yikes, messed up on the fingers!!! I used white fleece for the ghosts.

How Fun! The flannel will make it so warm and cozy. Your ghosts look great.

Oh, heck. Just pretend it's Halloween all year round. I would if I had that cute quilt.
