    Default Learned New things

Just have to share that yesterday I learned how to make a scalloped border for my DD's quilt that I have been working on for a year at least. Yesterday I used the Eleanor Burns ruler/template and actually marked and cut the scallops, after much studying and math, I just went for it. Then started the required bias binding which I finished today! It turned out so well, I can't believe it. Used the McCall's website version. Now tomorrow I will try to put the two together. Crossing my fingers!

I am sure you can do it. I made a dress a few years ago, that had scallops on the hemline, and sleeve hemline. Just take your time and you can do it.

I am sure it will look stunning!! Please post a pic. I have always wanted to try doing a scallop border but just haven't gotten there - I will have to look up your references - Thanks.

Wow, you are doing great. You can do the binding, just believe! I am taking a class just to learn how to do that scalloped border, and the binding. Wish me luck.
