Here are samples of my Part 1 and Part 2. I do not like the 2" string size on some of these, and will not use that large a size in the ones I am still working on. I think with the little 3 1/2" blocks, the smaller size strings are better.

Pretty! My strips came from my 2 1/2 inch strip bins. Took the scissors to them because they were just way too big. I think the biggest now is 1 1/2inch

I will probably be finished QSTing tomorrow. I won't be starting the the strings until Monday evening after work. Since I am so new to quilting and this is my first attempt at QSTs, I am amazed that they are coming out the right size! However, I did it the long way...cut 3 1/4", sew two seams diagonally, cut, sew two seams diagonally, cut. I also mis calculated and cut and sewed the HSTs enough for two of these quilts! But I will press on! (also cut my finger...but I can laugh at myself!)

Whatever works! So far I have 2! LOL 2 that are finished, there is a stack of them that the DH still needs to finish ironing so that I can get them done. I know I'm not even close to being done.

Here are the first 6 of Part #2 They are actually much yellower than the picture shows

I won't be able to start my part 2 until I get home on Tues. I have 84 quarter triangles done and most of the triangles for part 1 cut
