Default I am diverted to making Doll Clothes for a while - and you?

I bought my 4 granddaughters an 18" doll and horse for Christmas. I am so excited to see them open them....so I am making clothes for them. I am having a blast! I need to finish some quilts, but they aren't for Christmas guess I am diverted!

Anyone else making doll clothes? I would love to see your designs. Here are mine.

Oh cute! I will probably be making some doll clothes soon, too. I got my daughter a doll for Christmas that will be needing an expanded wardrobe. I make a lot of DD's clothes, so I like to make her dolls outfits from the scraps.

That will be nice, Butterflyblue, they can have matching outfits. Post some pictures when you get to making them.

have not made any yet, but have been thinking about trying it, as I love miniatures, and doll clothes are just mini clothes hehe

so I did some searching and found some nice links, not sure if these are the correct scale, but would like to share them with you

Nancy's Notions has a book--30 minute Doll Clothes. These will fit an 18" doll. Most of the sewing is straight sewing with an option to serge. Nancy just had a program on PBS about two weeks ago demonstrating the easy to make doll clothes. I
ordered the book and appears to be easy as it looked on TV!

    Default AG patterns

Here is a site that has actual AG patterns.http://www.agplaythings.com/AG%20Pat...sPatterns.html
I like the pattern books by Joan Hinds. I checked them out at the local library before buying them.

    Default Raggedy Ann and Andy

I am making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for my 2 1/2 yr. old niece. She is probably the closest we will ever get to having a grandchild. Someone loaned me a McCall's pattern. It seems to be going together very easily... If I get them done in a timely manner, I may make another outfit for each of them...

I forgot to say, Treasureit, that your clothes are so cute!
