    When I was messing about the other day, I found a pattern that my mother had ordered via mail back in the 40's. Cost 2 cents to mail it and had her address on the envelope written by her. Guess they enclosed a SASE with the order. Now we order over the net and get a PDF file. Wonder what the future holds for quilters?

    I have some of my mothers old crochet books that sold for 10 cents a book. Now you pay close to 8 dollars for a cheep book.
