    I agree with everyone who suggested a tut..to be able to cover the ugly thing in my lr would be much better that buying a new one, esp. since my 13 yr. old black lab sleeps and sheds on it all day long

    This would be a good idea for folks in assisted living or nursing homes too. They try so hard to be neat but a little perky quilt "slip cover" would brighten the room and keep the old favorite chair in better condition.

    Oh, that is wonderful. You should get a patent on that pattern. Many, I'm sure have suffered your same delima with a recliner.

    LOL... so funny Anita! My DH is a crumby guy too. The dogs like to get on his lap just so they can search him for fallen snacky bits.
    Your recliner cover is brilliant! It makes the chair look very nice and it's so practical too! Great idea!
