Default I have a question and I hope its ok here about vintage patterns.

I have 60+ vintage clothing patterns 1950+70 . Does anyone know where I can sell them in bulk? People here do so many things I was hoping someone knew of a place. I do not want to have to take pictures or pull them apart to see if everything is there. I spent an entire day putting thing up and I am done. lol

I would suggest selling them here, some might be interested but without photo's or knowing that the patterns are complete patterns ... it might be a tough sell. I think the biggest part is not knowing if they are complete.

I don't think we can sell them here. I think it has to be quilt related.

    that's correct.

however, eligible members are permitted to sell garment patterns that can be adapted to quilting. Loose-fitting jackets, vests, aprons, tote purses, and some other types of accessories, for example.

if they have genuine value as true "vintage" i would try first to sell them on ebay. for the purposes of a Thrift Shop, like ours, patterns that old would have to be priced for next to nothing.

Yes these are true vintage :-) Nothing that could really be transfered to quilting. Except maybe a housecoat pattern. And yes it would be pennies as some are priced 35¢ . lol

Vintage patterns are becoming popular. I recently bought some from ebay for several dollars each, but you have to post a photo. My niece is very into vintage designs.

Put them on Ebay as a bulk purchase, no return allowed.

Ebay has gotten so expensive to list. I have been staying away but may do it for these. I may separate them somehow. Not sure yet. Can I just state I hate clearing things out. lol

You could try Craigs list or the Facebook garage sale pages.

I think the best place to sell these with the least hassle would be the SewItsForSale group on yahoo.groups.com . Once you join and familiarize yourself with the rules, you can simply make a post listing what is in the bundle and the price you want for the bundle. The group was created specifically for buying and selling sewing and quilting related items and there are no commissions. I will try to post a direct link:
