    Default Name this pattern, please!

I would love to make this quilt for my expected granddaughter due to arrive in May. Can anyone tell me what the name of this quilt pattern is? I would greatly appreciate your help.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what the pattern is, but it would be pretty easy to duplicate. It's a bunch of plain squares with a some 9-patch blocks, all on point.

16 assorted colored squares, 20 9-patches, 49 white squares, 4 striped corner triangles, 24 striped side triangles

Using a 6" finished block size gives you about a 60" square quilt. (cut assorted colored & white large squares @ 6 1/2", cut 9-patch squares @ 2 1/2", cut 2 squares @ 5 1/8" & cut in half diagonally for the 4 corners, cut 6 squares @ 9 3/4" & cut in quarters diagonally for the setting side triangles)

forgot to add: if doing striped fabric for the setting triangles, pay attention to the orientation of the strip when you cut them. You want to cut half each way.

The 9-patch blocks could be strip pieced. A lot easier than cutting all those squares. http://quilting.about.com/od/blockof...y_quilts_2.htm

It is really a very simple pattern that uses colours to make it interesting--especially the stripe. I think you could graph it out quite easily. The only hard part would be deciding on the size of the block, because you would be setting them on point and would have to consider the DIAGONAL size instead of the width.

    Very pretty.

This is a cute pattern. I made it for a baby boy. It is set on-point.I winged the pattern rather than buy it.
I thought it was fairly easy to make.
