Default Iowa DQ

I rec'd a wonderful Dq representing Iowa and the corn fields...from Jean D. Also got a bonus gift of homemade clay buttons...they are wonderful. Jean "Thank you so much I love the quilt you did representing your state"...The buttons will be used for special wallhangings..

WOW, those stitches are gorgeous. The Blue and Gold are just gorgeous together.

I sent my quilt to my partner and the tracking says she got it today so will post pictures. She lives in Kansas and I live in Washington State. So the front is gray fabrics with umbrellas, for the rain we get here, the green fabric is for the fir trees and the backing fabric is apples for the Washington State apples. I hope she likes it.

I'm posting what I sent to Jean D since she sounds busy...She has rec'd it. I only have a picture of the top, forgot to take finished shot...But I did a Bargello Scene representing NY...I called it New Yrs Eve in NYC... Can you see the Ball dropping, ringing in the New Yr, hussle and bussle of people in the sts and fireworks as it hits midnight.
