Your sewing space is well thought out and I am sure you must enjoy being near the family. Love your thimble collection.

I like the little stand with the baskets that sits by the dog's water bowl, but something occurred to me...you have a really good little space to work with there. If you were inclined, you could scoot the dog's water elsewhere, move the basket table and go to Wallyworld and get two rolling plastic carts with wheels. Then to Lowes in the storage section and look for the widest white board they sell for homemade shelves and have it cut to where it will go all the way into the corner and as far towards the back door as you want..not too close to the door or you'll whack yourself every time you go out.
Use the board as a table top for the rolling carts and you'll have TONS of storage and a handy place to put stuff while you're working. I don't know about you, but stuff just generates around me when I sew and I always need more room to spread out.
    Looks like a happy space.

Looks very nice. I used to sew in my dining room as well, then the living room and a bedroom.

Great use of your space, and looks neat and tidy.
