My Prayers and Squares quilts
These are my first pictures to post since joining the board. I'm so in awe of all of you. But I'm being brave and sharing two of the quilts I've made for Prayers and Squares this month. Thanks for inspiring me, all of you.

Ruth, I think your quilts are exquisite and beautiful. Is the first one applique? I don't applique so the second one fascinates me more. Is there a name for the second one or it is your original design? Beautiful work and a generous heart.

The first one is machine applique. I ironed the fusible onto the blue fabric, drew the template, cut it out, and when I flipped it over, . . .oops half of the fusible is on the up side!! lol So then I did more squares, and now I have enough of them to make another quilt with all the blues on the left and the whites on the right!! The other quilt is from a book called "Tesselations."
