?? for RVquilter: do you take your sewing machine with you in your RV on trips? If so, do you have a smaller machine you take? I want to take mine, I've been prepping my husband, but he's not keen on the idea, but I just have one machine a Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.0, kind of big, oh well!
I have a Janome Jem that I bring and I have a small folding table I put my table top ironing board on. Don't forget an Ott Light

PaintMeJudy ... I'd appreciate your comments as to whether my A+F in each group should be reversed?
Also whether you think the two florals are too large?

Here's my fabrics ...
Autumn Group ... Floral to be F; rest A thru E

Blue Group ... Floral to be A; F on left, then B thru E

Thanks JeanieG .... I'm thinking these will give me two Christmas gifts for GFs, so I've chosen the fabrics thinking of their homes.

And how did I miss your fabrics .... beeeeauuuutiful!!!!! I was so tempted with purples, as that's something I don't use a lot, and yet they've crept into my stash. Then reality grabbed me and said, make something for their gifts! I really really like yours! For you?

There is a lady in Alaska on Kodiak Island (no electricity, no telephone) that sews on a treadle machine, under a tree, and even does mending for others......she grows all her own food also.....and trades sewing for salmon......I could do this, except for the snow.

QuiltE, I think both groups are fabulous and will be beautiful. As I look at your fabrics, hold off on cutting the 3-1/4" strips. You'll bee why in step 4.

And welcome, auntlucy

How do you know if you are a person who should wait on cutting the 3 1/4" strips?
