Or maybe do a removeable purse insert, they come out cute. Or use 2 fabrics for a small 4 patch and use stripe for 1in. border followed by another border. I;ve done several for Quilts for kids with little stripe border.

Wow great packages all! I haven't been on as much lately due to work and my MS. ArizonaGirl thank you for the "get well" response. Diana Lynne we will miss you. There is a light at the end of all you've been through. Lori, hope you made well from surgery! Ladybug 1938 love the fabric!!! Last night I finally finished off the binding to the quilts I'm making. So now its ready to be hand sewn to the back, if my hands don't tremble. I want to send it off Monday to my brothers and nephew. I'll post a pic up once all 3 are done. Hoping that everyone receives their packages today and have a great day!

Quiltnut, hang in there. I really admire you for sewing through the trembling. Hopefully it will subside a bit.

Surgery went very well. This morning I am reading the thread and typing without any glasses (and my face isn't 2 inches fromthe screen)! This one didn't hurt at all, it just felt like a contact that was slipping. So for the first time in 50 years I will face the world without glasses. I feel half dressed! lol I do think that I will buy some sunglasses to help prevent anything from blowinginto my eyes for awhile.

Lori, Glad your surgery went well. I am always nervouse when it has something to do with your eyes. I will be going in for lazer surgery in May on both of my eyes at the same time. Very nervous about it but ready to get rid of the thick glasses.

Wow, everyone is getting such nice packages. I cant wait for mine to get here ... I am not sure which is more fun waiting for my secret pal to get theirs or waiting for mine. My pal already has her's so now I am excited for mine. No rush though!

For all those that are ill are dealing with out of the norm problems hope everything turns around for ya's soon.
