    Your quilt top is beautiful! Firrst check the quilting requirements on the batt you are going to use. If it says up to 10 inches apart, I think I would stitch in the ditch along the 8 inch block lines on the diagonal. This would give you a large crosshatch pattern. After that was done, if I still had time, I would go back and either hand quilt or machine quilt a little more.

    What a treasure you have made for your daughter's Wedding Quilt!! The colors are so pretty & they blend together just perfectly. What a Lucky Daughter!!

    this is a lot of starts and stops, but how about something like this

    either just the single line or double back on it
