    I am going to start one of these next. I just never thought of starting out so small til I saw yours. I guess I mean piecing by hand where I can pick it up & put it down when I need too. Thanks. Added to favorites to encourage me.

    I have one of those started but only work on it when we have appts and by the grace of God we haven't had many this year so the top isn't growing.

    These are 3" blocks that I cut with the AccuQuilt Go! Hexagon die. They are cut perfectly and that makes the process easier. That die comes with 3 sizes on it: 2", 3" and 5". I cut some of the 2" and they are too small for me to mess with.

    I find it relaxing to sit and sew by hand--something I never wanted to do a few years ago. I only have problems hand sewing when I am sleepy -- my sister laughed when she saw those stitches !

    Thanks for your compliments. I wanted a scrappy look to make it but don't have scraps so I had to buy fabric.
