i'm pretty sure there's a lqs in houston that does quilting cruises!

LoL Nancia, I don't know that they would be eye candy these days. Also only gentlemenly robbers allowed on this train. I am packing my six shooter right next to my seam ripper.

    Dabbler looking good there.

I'll have to pass on the brownies. I have to look my best for visiting train robbers. Need to trim down a pound or two. Im off to the exercise car then will spend the rest of the day in the sewing car, Coopah said something yesterday about me making a few extra stitches. Cya all in the club car for a drink later this evening.

Dabbler, your colors are eye popping in a good way. Love them! And I am not a yellow/orange person most of the time.
Jenniky, we can help you sew those strips together...after I get the weeding done in the 90+ heat. Or you could do the weeding and I could do the sewing!

Thanks coopah - I have been admiring dark background quilts and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give one a whirl.

We are having fabulous temps again today; weatherman said it will struggle to get to upper 60's!!!!

Happy sewing today ladies. Doesn't look right now that there will be a lot done here with Lucy.
Okay Everose, just got back from vacation and was going thru all the treads and stuff I missed while I was gone. Will be on this train observing and enjoying the fun, but just too far behind to catch up now. As you said you loved B&W so much, wanted to post you the picture of the quilt I just finished.

Try cleaning your iron with used dryer sheets!!! they take off the sticky residue left from fusibles!
