Remember when Postal Packin Mama posted this quilt earlier this summer? Well, I was so inspired that I just had to make one of my own. I never dreamed that it would use up so many scraps, but my scrap drawers are now empty and I am one happy camper! It's big 120" by 120" and heavy, which will be wonderful come winter time. It's pieced with a QAYG method. Thanks Postal Packin Mama for your inspiration and your words of wisdom as I worked on my own!

Wedding quilt for my granddaughter in Annapolis. She chose the pattern and colours. It was foundation pieced (my first attempt)and hand quilted. I had trouble with the centre points matching ,hence the circles! She and new husband loved it.
Hope this posting works as I`m not that clever on the computer.

calicojoan ~ your quilt is spectacular ~ what a job that must have been! I love both sides and you did a wonderful job on it. It is beautiful on both sides!
