    Beautiful quilt, love the black too. I too use to make only matchy matchy quilts and someitmes I still too. I am loving the scrappy quilts and starting to do more of them.

    I love what my family calls loud quilts. They are just so happy. Plus, you can see so many beautiful fabrics all in one quilt. And...since I use a stabilizing fabric for the scraps and then use batting, they are toasty warm in the winter. These things make these quilts the ones to go for and subsequently they get used and loved more! They fill all my requirements for a quilt. Gotta love 'em.

    This quilt is absolutely gorgeous! I have been trying to get up the courage to try a string quilt. Do you have to square up the muslin before you cut it out? Thanks!
