    Default My first batik quilt

I enjoyed making this quilt very much. It actually went very quickly and I am going to make the same design for a scrappy in the future.

The batiks are from Connecting Threads. Two jelly rolls (24 strips each) and 3 charm packs - cut into 2.5 inch squares (24 fabrics each) plus black for the borders. I still have to add the third border of black. What do you think?

I love it and the colors are wonderful. I have a lot of Batiks from Connecting Threads and I am about to order more, don't know what I am going to do with them yet.
