Did i say that I collect frogs and shot glasses also magnets. When ever I go on road trips I get a magnet or shot glass from there. I like funny stuff but am short on space so it has to be small. Been away from sewing and quilting for to long and trying to build up my stash. Anyway secret santa-I will love all that I get.

By the way I got my name so now the fun realy begins. (jumping up-n-down with excitment)

Alright, I'm jumping on the bandwagon here. Can't remember what I put in my description regarding my likes. I love everything quilting. I do machine applique, so different color theads are awesome to me. Also love buttons, little beads and embelishments. I do a lot of wall and door hangers, plus table runners for friends. Purses for my Mom, so I love patterns. Favorite season is Fall. Love all the fall colors, sites and smells. I'm also a huge fan of Winter, Christmas and SNOW. Love coffee, but can only have decafe. I am a Longarmer (newbie). I do free motion, pantographs & stencils. I live in the country with my DH of 30 yrs. and our DD who is 17. We also have a DS who is 30 this year, married, and we have one DGD, Hannah, who is 3. Favorite dog - Lab. We have 3, 2 chocolates and one black. Also have to cats (like carpet - indoor/outdoor). I love to cook, bake (big time), go to auctions, read, ride motorcycles, collect antiques/antique quilts. I have a group of about 8 ladies that meet at my house every other Wednesday to quilt, and on Saturdays to have classes. Always looking for great quick projects.

Think I covered most everything. Like I said, I live in the country, love country and primitive. Not into the new modern fabrics and colors, more a traditionalist.

Does he or she join swaps, if so, which ones. Does he or she host swaps, if so, which one. Does he or she post pictures of their work, if so, check it out. Does he or she post in other sections. I learned a lot about my SS last year by snooping and stalking her previous posts and found out A LOT about her. I tailored her box around that and she was shocked with everything I got for her that totally fit her lifestyle. One idea...if your SS is a coffee fanatic (like me) I try to find some "Texas" coffee to send. However, I watch for allergies first. I won't send anything with nuts because I'm allergic and I break out in hives just being near it. Stupid allergy...didn't have it growing up...only developed it while I was pregnant. Oh well...still waiting on the bench...my it is nice and toasty!!!

    hi there,
I don't have my name yet, but someone may have mine so I figured I would post some more about me. I don't remember what I put on the sign up sheet so if it is duplicate just ignore. I will turn 37 on Nov. 3. I have been married for 8 yrs to a wonderful man who lets me "take over" the living room for my sewing area. I two boys, ages 12 and 6 (7 this month), and both have a form of autism called asperger's syndrome. so anything to do with autism awareness is welcomed. I know that joann's caries the autism puzzle piece material. could always use more of that. I make purses out of it and each purse requirs a yard and a half. I also have two four legged babies, Katie is a 2yr old chiauwawa(sp) who could always use a winter sweater (size medium) and then we have Dobbie who is an old wire hair terrior mix. They both love all treats.
I am new to quilting, have only been doing it since June of this year. because of this I do not have much of a fabric stash or supplies stash. I have not done paper piecing or applique' yet, but would love to try something easy. I love all patterns except one that have round pieces in them. Not ready for that yet. As far as fabric choices go, I love Batiks and tonals. Don't care for black or neon fabrics. Can't wrap my brain around them. As I mentioned before, I make purses and would love some light/dark combos to make them with. I sew on a baby lock sophia 2 and could always use needles. would love a walking foot that fit my machine. embroidery thead is always welcome as I don't have much. I have plenty of sewing thread. I bought a large lot on ebay and it will last me a good while.
we are a snake eating family so snacks are ok. I think that should be a good start. If I think of more I will post.
