    I agree with you 100% and they will make one or two teenagers very happy. I think with 52 12 in blocks I can make two quilts. I try to make quilts for my daughters friends. I know how hard it is to be a teenager and sometimes little things like a quilt made by a friends mother puts a smile on there face. It makes them feel like the world isn't such a horrible place. I am the mother that allows her kids friends over to the house a lot. I would rather spend the extra money for food and know where my kids are and what they are doing.

    Yes, they are all beautiful. I am going to keep this quilt for myself.... I just love the colors.

    Melinda......what a great idea to use a black as the "basic" color.....really makes it easy for the receiver to work with. Since this has been my first Boom swap, I'm learning a lot......thanks for sharing.....

    Wendiq........this is my first boom also and honestly black is my favorite background color. What teenager doesn't like bright colors so it works out great. I think I will be able to get two twin size quilts with my blocks especially if I put them on point. I will probably do one aimed for a boy and one for a girl.
