I started this quilt last year but only managed to get the middle section finished before I got frustrated and put it away (at that time I'd only been quilting for about 6 months and had no clue what I was doing lol). I finally dug it out this past week and finished it; put the border on, put the backing/batting on, did a simple SITD then sewed on the binding - which, I should point out - I'm not a hand sewer at all and dislike it immensely, but I did hand sew on the binding. I complained and *itched a lot and it took 3 evenings but I did it ![Big Grin](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png)
The pattern came from the September 2011 issue of The Quilter magazine. My friend found the panel and some of the fabric at her LQS when she went home for a visit, and we found the rest of the fabric here locally.
I brought it to work since I decorated my office for Halloween - for a novice quilter I'm very happy with how it turned out, warts and all!

Warts??? What warts???? Oh, you mean the one on the witches' nose! I absolutely love it! Hallowe'en is my favourite holiday, yes, even more than Christmas! You did a fantastic job and aren't you pleased with yourself that you finished it?
