Default Diamond Log Cabin Star Quilt

I loved Dunster's avatar so much that I made this for my Granddaughter's wedding. She got married this weekend so I can now share.

My husband arranged the colors on the outside of the hexagon and I did the diamonds.

FYI: I had to make it smaller but did not want to exclude any logs.I felt that it took away from the design. Instead I cut the strips ⅛" narrower than specified and sewed the seams a full ¼".

Beautiful. The colors blend wonderfully. I'll bet your DGD will cherish the quilt.

Words can't describe how much I admire your quilt. You took the design to a new level.
