    You go girl! You were prepared and resourceful like we were after our storm - Dreicho. Without power for 11 days! At least it was warm and not cold like it is for those poor folks on east coast.

    Another good reason for a treadle. What good lighting. Nice job. Glad you are ok.

    Oh how that iron brings back memories. I still have a flat iron but haven't had any use for it except to hold down my quilt while basting.

    Wow, you have quite the set up. I can only hope that they get power back to you before the next round of storms hit. Keep yourself safe and keep creating. It's all we can do when things get tough!

    Good for you - being so creative in a bad situation. I feel for you as we were out of power for a week in the June storm, and I learned that we are very spoiled. At least with ours, it was summer. Hope you're warm and doing well. Prayers for all who were affected by terrible Sandy. Hope to see the finished quilt.
