I am working on my DQ for Nov today, it is a rainy kinda day here, perfect for sewing and for Hot tomato soup with a grilled Cheese sandwich... Now I am hungry for lunch!

I like the turkey quilt. Mary, I love tomato sop and grilled cheese . Yum. It is a little chilly here down under in the land of Kangaroos. I have a grandson staying home from school with a slight fever. I think he has that disease called "I want to stay home with grandma". His sister had the same disease yesterday because I was arriving. although both have fevers so maybe not.

My partner should have her DQ. I hope she likes it and will post pics.
By the way, if any of you want Krystyna's current address, please pm me. They got into an apartment and are gathering furniture, so she has her own address now.

    It's snowing here...feels like Christmas!

Urgodschild...you lucky you! Aren't grandkiddos the best?????

rwquilts - thanks for the update on Krystyna and family. Glad they found a place to stay until the recovery can begin.

Love the first two but you can keep the four letter word at the end.

well after growing up in FL for my first 38yrs and only seeing snow there like once every 20 yrs, I kinda like it! I will say I love living here in NC now cause we get just the right amount of the white stuff!

True it is beautiful - to look at, ski in, go sledding, etc. and I can see how not growing up with it you can enjoy it.
I spent 25+ years in Michigan and I don't miss it at all.
